Random Stuff and Other Interests

I was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and have lived in the area for most of my life. I now reside in Mahtomedi, a North-East suburb of St. Paul just outside the 494/694 metro freeway loop.

I like to listen to live music, especially jazz and blues. I maintain a reasonably up-to-date list of local events compiled from sources such as City Pages.

I love to downhill ski. Here's some information on ski areas in and near Minnesota.
